Welcome to the 2018- 2019 School Year!
Highland is an amazing school community filled with outstanding teachers and support staff as well as involved parents working collaboratively to make our school a great learning environment for students. If you are interested in getting involved we welcome you to join HEPTO .
What is HEPTO?
We are the Highland Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (HEPTO). HEPTO is a volunteer, parent-run organization that plans and sponsors many activities for our students throughout the year. Our success each year depends on parent engagement and participation. Our mission is to enhance the partnership between the staff and families of Highland Elementary School. It is our belief that a strong partnership between school and families will ensure our children reach their full potential both academically and socially. In further support of this belief HEPTO partners with the staff to provide additional funding to teachers for classroom enhancements, additional technology, field trip bussing and school improvements.
How Do I Join?
Do you have a child enrolled at Highland Elementary school? Good News! If you answered yes, you are already a member of HEPTO! We have no membership fee and welcome your participation in our monthly discussions and at our student events. Whether you work full/part-time, or are full time at home, we encourage you to become involved. We have fun together and our students have enjoyable, meaningful experiences as a result of your involvement at our school.
